The Chris Evans founded Carfest South 2019 concluded the 2-part series in the truly remarkable and one of a kind musical happiness, full throttle and giving outdoor event.
The festivities continued with up close experiences in the Paddock, the 2019 categories including Autocross, Stock Car Racing, Le Mans, Vintage Cars and Super Cars… not forgetting the Cars of the Movies.
The Michelin and Kwickfit Track, was designed by Carfest’s venue host and Formula One World Champion Jody Scheckter along with Ross Brawn in order to replica the infamous ‘Swimming Pool’ corner at Monaco’s F1 Street Circuit and if that wasn’t enough the Carfest Motor show brought motoring legends Peugeot, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Mercedes, Lotus and many more.
The famous Main Stage was donned by musical superstars, including The Jacksons, Jools Holland, Judge Jules, Kaiser Chiefs, Boy George & The Culture Club and The Human League.
Not only does the Carfest offer a Weekend of action-packed entertainment it wholeheartedly supports UK Children’s charities as BBC Children in Need receive 50% of the total profits raised with Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, Starlight Children’s Foundation and Teenage Cancer Trust each receiving 10%
Gainsborough Events Management Ltd are proud to be a part of the Carfest journey, with staff enjoying two brand new events and the experiences and challenges they offered.
Staff welfare was the top of Gainsborough’s agenda onsite, with the sun out in full force, welfare breaks were offered, along with sun cream, water and ice cream drops.
Staff were able to deliver a conscientious and professional service whilst on site, concentrating on visitor safety and enjoyment as well as supporting event organisers in every way possible.
And all staff fully immersed themselves fully in the feel good and lighthearted atmosphere on site; some even joined Chris Evans on stage for the final show following his special request, just in time to offer a rendition of YMCA.
Gainsborough Events Management Ltd look forward to Carfest 2020 and the ability to offer a wealth of knowledge and experience gained.
