Door Supervisors
Gainsborough supplies SIA Licensed Door Supervisors and Security Staff for Venues and Events throughout the UK.
All of our Door Supervisors are highly experienced and trained to handle the most difficult of customers. Protecting Property and Premises is the Door Supervisor’s main responsibility; Gainsborough’s Door Supervisors aim to keep the peace whilst maintaining the rules and regulations of your Venue, pre-empting any problems that may arise.
Front of House & Reception Security
Gainsborough provides complete Front of House and Reception Security Services for a range of Public and Private Sector Organisations throughout London and the UK.
Whether for simple Reception Duties or a more ‘hands on’ role in the running of services and emergency procedures, our highly skilled Security Officers are courteous whilst unobtrusive. They assist and protect Clients, Tenants and Visitors, ensuring safety and smooth operation.
Our Front of House Security and Reception Service is tailored to meet our clients specific needs. Our Personnel are stringently vetted and selected for their diplomatic demeanour, range of abilities and desire to go the extra mile.
Manned Guarding
Gainsborough specialises in the provision of Manned Guarding Security Services to Local and National Customers across all Sectors, throughout the UK. We undertake fully comprehensive 24-hour Manned Guarding Contracts on Commercial, Retail and Entertainment Security Assignments.
Our Front Line Officers represent Gainsborough and our Clients, which is why we invest so much in them through training and managerial support. They are highly motivated and encouraged to excel, both in their quality of service and in their working relationships with our Clients.
We offer Manned Guarding packages tailored to your requirements. During our research phase we will complete a Health & Safety Risk Assessment, highlighting key areas. From this we compile a site-specific set of Assignment Instructions, including details of patrols, high risk areas and emergency contacts.
Stand Security
Gainsborough provides dedicated Stand Security and Proximity Alarm Systems for Exhibitions and Outdoor Shows and Events.
Our alarms are wirelessly monitored from our central control point and alarm activation triggers immediate response from our nightly Patrol Officers. Each alarm position can also be manned by a dedicated Control Officer.
Gainsborough can also supply CCTV Unit hire, Investigation and Surveillance Services with experienced, SIA Licensed Investigating Officers from our senior team. Contact us for further information.

My husband and I would like to thank members of your security and welfare team for their help and kindness.
We attended the YCS Yugioh event at the London Excell in Hall S7, from the 25th to the 27th October with our son.
On the Saturday morning our son felt unwell while queuing outside. My husband took him to the front of the queue and explained they needed to get to the bathroom urgently. They were helped through by one of your team Michelle, who was one of the Welfare Officers that day.
Throughout that day and for the rest of the weekend, Michelle regularly checked up on us, checking that our son was ok and ensuring we knew where to access help if needed. Her professionalism, friendliness and kindness was much appreciated.
I am a Registered General Nurse with 30 years experience, including working in the army and the prison and I was very impressed with how your team supported the Yugioh event. There were over 2,500 players attending on the Saturday, 700 who I believe had to be turned away due to there not being enough places for them. Despite the added pressure this must have caused, (plus the 100,000 that were attending the Comic Con walking through too!) your staff were pleasant, smiling and made efforts to ensure that the event was kept safe. I’d like also to thank Phil, who we have seen at this YCS event for the last 3 years, who always says hello to us.
Michelle’s number on her hi- viz jacket was 491, apologies, I can’t remember Phil’s but he is always on duty in the YCS event hall.
I do hope that you can relay our thanks to your staff. Their timely help and kindness ensured that the weekend was as stress free and as fun as possible for us and our son.
